It’s important you know as much about us as possible, so you can make an informed decision about your treatment. So let us introduce ourselves – meet the MD Aesthetic team.
I am a fully licensed GMC registered medical doctor, having completed my degree at Norwich Medical School. I began my career working in the NHS, but I have always been interested in skin and dermatology – as the largest organ of the body, it’s so intelligent and sophisticated. To fulfil my interest, I went on to train with The Royal Society of Medicine in injectable therapies and Derma Medical London to Advanced level, including lip masterclass. I am also a member of the ACE Group of Practitioners (Aesthetics Complications Expert). I now work solely as an aesthetics doctor as this is what gives me the most pleasure and job satisfaction.
I absolutely love the creativity and artistry involved in enhancing and improving people’s features. I also love the satisfaction that it brings about – more often than not, a client will have had an insecurity for some time, and to then be responsible for making them happier is such a special feeling. I love meeting new people and enjoy the challenges that they set me to improve their facial aesthetics. I also love seeing returning clients, hearing about their progress and how they have enjoyed their treatment. Many of them have got such lovely feedback from their friends and family, and they come in with a renewed confidence.
When I am not at work I spend a lot of my time learning and training to update and maintain my skills, but I enjoy this and so it’s never a chore. I spend most days working as an aesthetic doctor, but when not at work, I spend my time with my son and husband – usually tidying up after them!
Managing Director & Aesthetic Practitioner
I set up MD Aesthetic and take an active role in running the company. I am responsible for the day-to-day management, taking care of staff, the smooth running of the clinic and behind the scenes organisation. Client satisfaction is my top priority and I will answer any queries people have over the phone, making sure they are happy ahead of their consultation.
I got into this industry after gaining my CIBTAC Level 4 qualification. This allows me to carry out skincare procedures from laser treatments and microneedling to chemical peels – I will be happy to give additional advice to anyone who has concerns with their skin. I have always been interested in beauty and have worked with some major brands, but a personal skincare battle throughout my 20s really turned my attention to the services on offer. I knew I wanted to get into aesthetic treatments, and I’ve never looked back.
For me, job satisfaction comes from seeing the transformation in people. I have always dreamed of setting my own company, and now that I have I couldn’t be prouder of the way in which we help our clients. I enjoy working with people throughout their whole journey, getting to know them and their concerns. People often come to us feeling low and insecure, and I love that we can help them. Surgery isn’t always the answer and our treatments can make a really big difference to people’s lives – this is why I love this industry.
